This tool is amazing!! I was wanting more training with my Glock 43x bc it’s my EDC right now. I’m a bit sadden that no one provides a dry fire mag that can be used with the system, I would love to train with this without having to reset the pin. Never the less, while using this system, it would be great if we could create our own courses or drills. The drills that are provided are great, but more customization would be awesome. For example; I would great to have failure drills and reloading drills interwoven into a custom drill. That way while training it could utilize all factors that could happen in a training situation. Also, I would love it if we could get more sounds and also have the ability to reduce volume/remove sounds. The whistle is one of the annoying things I wish I could remove and keep other sounds while training. Great product, keep it up!

Absolutely love the Mantis Laser Academy dry-fire training system. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks and have already spent many hours with it. Considering the ammo I’ve saved training this way, it’s probably almost paid for itself already. You’re obviously not going to simulate recoil but that’s not what this is about. You are practicing the draw, aiming, trigger finger technique, drills, etc. I even used the system to zero a red dot at home and and it worked great, getting perfect results at the range afterwards. Once my wife tried it, she liked it so much that she wanted her own LOL!!I would have given the App a full 5 stars but a couple of the courses/drills seem to be a little buggy and shut down the app unexpectedly while using. Obviously frustrating when you’re starting to get into it and have a rhythm going. Hopefully, the app developers will get that worked out so I can update this review with the full five stars. The app is great otherwise, so I’m fully confident they will work out these flaws in future updates!!Mantis Laser Academy is a must have in my opinion!!

New user here - love the app, makes dry fire training so much fun! Once I got the hang of it and figured how to use it - it’s been a blast!However, I struggled with it for the first couple of days - couldn’t figure out how to get the sound working. Videos, drills - everything was on mute - took me a while to realize that the app doesn’t produce a sound if the iPhone it’s running on is in silent mode. This is very strange, up until now the silent mode only blocked the ringtone - ALL other apps run just fine with sound on, loud and clear. Not this one - keep it in mind and turn the silent mode off if you’re wondering how to get it to “talk” to you. Otherwise, great stuff with lots of good features. (Developers - turn the sound on for good, there is really no good reason to mute the app in silent mode.)

The best $150 you’ll spend on dry fire training. Ingenious app recognizes many different Mantis target types, including IDPA and USPSA! The app accurately detects shots based on your distance from the targets. I practice at least 150 shots per day. In the first week alone, my accuracy increased immeasurably. My trigger pull is ridiculously smoother and more consistent. This app and system alone has improved my speed and accuracy more than anything else I’ve ever done and did it in one week. I’m still making progress each week, but that first week was eye opening. The only feature lacking is a daily shot counter so I don’t have to go through the log and count up my shots manually from each exercise completed in a day. It only tells you by bar graph if you reached your daily shot goal or not. I want to see my daily shot count as I practice. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.
