「岡城時空散歩 ARガイド」は、AR（拡張現実）やVR（仮想現実）などのIT技術を活用し、かつて岡城にあった建物を再現したり、歴史上の人物を登場させるなど、驚きと発見が共存する、岡城の歴史散策のナビゲーションシステムです。
また、岡城跡の随所に設置したARマーカーと連動し、岡城に来なければ得ることができない唯一無二の体験を提供します。
ナビゲーションのガイドは、竹田を代表する郷土人形の「姫だるま」です。
姫だるまのモデルは、370年ほど前に実在した岡藩下級武士の妻・綾女といわれ、彼女の登場により、いにしえの岡城へのタイムスリップへと参加者をいざないます。そして、岡城跡の見どころポイントについて、歴史の生き証人として、やさしく参加者に語りかけます。
是非、ここでしか味わうことのできない特別な体験を通して、岡城散策を楽しみ、歴史を身近に感じてください。
■主な機能
岡城をナビゲーターの姫だるまがご紹介します。
城内に設置したARマーカーを読み取ると、岡城についての様々な情報をナレーションと資料から知ることができます。
監修を経て復元された高精細CGからは、在りし日の岡城を体感することができます。

iOS12以降がインストールされているARKitサポート対象の端末
■注意事項：
石垣から落ちたり、段差につまづいて転んだりすると、とても危険です。
アプリの画面をのぞきながら歩き回るのは絶対にやめてください。
