New in 3.0: time every reading session, save quotes with page numbers, and keep your goals on widgets and Apple Watch. Google Books search works again. BooksMy is a reading journal for every book you read, whether it’s on paper, on an e-reader, or in your ears. Time your sessions, save the lines you love, and watch your reading habit grow. No account, no sign-up. TIME EVERY SESSION Start the timer when you open your book and follow it live on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. When you stop, log your page, a quick note, and the book’s status in one step. BooksMy keeps your full reading history, charts for each book, and an estimate of how much time you have left. Track print, ebooks, and audiobooks by page or percentage, along with pauses, rereads, and books you didn’t finish. KEEP THE LINES YOU LOVE Save quotes and notes with the page, chapter, and time. Scan text straight from the page with your camera or a photo, or simply dictate. Add tags and favorites, then search, filter, and share your quotes as polished images. Drafts you didn’t save are waiting when you come back. GOALS YOU’LL ACTUALLY KEEP Set daily time or page goals and monthly or yearly book goals, then build streaks with reminders on the days you choose, up to three times a day. Your statistics show time, pages, and books for any period, your most active days, and how you compare with the period before. Look back with monthly and yearly calendars and your Year in Review, and share a reading card in square, portrait, or story size. ON YOUR WRIST AND HOME SCREEN Widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen. Your current book, daily goal, and streak on Apple Watch. Siri and Shortcuts to pause or resume your session timer, scan a barcode, or jump to your stats. ADD BOOKS IN SECONDS Scan one barcode or a whole stack in a row, or search by title, author, or ISBN and add several results at once. Adding by hand? Snap your own cover. BooksMy warns you about duplicates and keeps track of series, volumes, and editions. A LIBRARY THAT ORGANIZES ITSELF Reading, To Read, Finished, and Did Not Finish shelves, your own lists, and smart lists that fill themselves by rating, series, mood, location, loans, and more. Rate plot, characters, writing, and atmosphere separately. Remember who borrowed which book and when it’s due, and which shelf, room, or box every book lives in. YOUR LIBRARY, YOUR DATA Back up to your own iCloud account manually or automatically, and restore on a new device. Import and export CSV, including your Goodreads library, and preview every import before anything changes. Lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Your library doesn’t sync automatically between devices. Light and Dark mode, four accent colors, large text support, a side-by-side layout on iPad, and 34 languages. FREE TO START Your first 10 books are free. After that, add each new book by watching a short ad; importing a CSV that takes your library past 10 books is a Pro feature. Ads may also appear when you open the free version. A one-time BooksMy Pro purchase removes the book limit and all ads. Already bought Pro? Go to Settings › Pro features › Restore Purchases. PLEASE NOTE BooksMy tracks your reading. It doesn’t include, sell, or play ebooks or audiobooks.

UPDATE: Received feedback on my review addressing my concerns. Took another look and was very happy to see so many improvements! Thanks for supporting your app and considering user feedback!ORIGINAL:Looks like a solid app, but has one mandatory feature that’s missing. Series/#. I can’t use this without ability to see which books there are in a series and which volume in the series. For example, if I’m reading the Harry Bosch series, I need to know what order the titles are within the series. Adding these 2 fields, along with ability to list/search by series is mandatory for any book/library app.Other suggestions:- ability to choose author sort by last, first or full (first,last)- populate Published Date field from google- ability to sort by Rating- add Format field (and ability to sort/filter if possible), e.g. eBook, Audio Book, PDF...

Thank you for such a thorough list, and good news: most of it is in 3.0. There are Series Name and Series Number fields with a My Series view, author sorting by surname, publication dates filled in from Google Books, sorting by rating in Smart Lists, and a Format choice (print, ebook, audiobook) you can filter by. — Tamer, BooksMy developer

Sorry for the confusion. BooksMy is free to download, and the free version holds 10 books; after that you can add each new book by watching a short ad. The only purchase is the optional Pro, a one-time payment (not a subscription) that removes the ads and the book limit. — Tamer, BooksMy developer
