Observing-iR is for coding past or current events on an iPhone. Observing-iR is not a stand-alone but an add-on application. It works like a remote keyboard. It is free and gets its task via iCloud from paid master software Observing-R. Time and effort of running a task are minimal. Credentials need to be entered only once.  Loading and running last only a couple of seconds. Codings are saved automatically on iCloud where they are retrieved from the master software Observing-R. Users cannot inspect their past codings. This is intended to prevent users from reactive coding, i.e. to avoid that the current coding process is influenced by past ones. Typical application:  A physician or a psychotherapist wants his patient to collect relevant data during a day, a week, a month, a year, … The physician or psychotherapist sets up a code-system covering terms for events, sensitivities, physical or mental states, behaviours, … that are individually tailored to a patient's problem. Patients should monitor themselves and select from the code-system those terms that characterise their momentary situation.
