I’m so glad to have found Bakesy. After struggling with other website builders, trying to get my home based bakery website up & running, I saw an ad for Bakesy. What a blessing that was! I literally had a website completed & posted on social media in just a few hours. I found it very easy to set up & if I ran into an issue, right there on your page is a message section. I did have to message them on several different occasions & I waited maybe 10 minutes for a response. No waiting 24 hours for a email response. That alone is worth it. I’m beyond grateful for this app let me just say that for one because I am a homebaker. I basically do everything by myself when it comes from the baking, decorating, creating content and clean up. There’s so much to do in this app helps out so much because it puts everything that I need in order. I love how they just added the new review system, so my customers can leave recommendations and comments about their order. It gives me insight on what I can do better or what I can approve on. I love how I can ask all the questions I need for each individual item that is listed in my menu as well as send invoices to my customers, making me look more professional! I appreciate the help chat services as well! They always respond back fast and help me with whatever assistance or questions I need. Some ideas I think they could add are the number of orders in total when going to order history. Especially when you print out your yearly page that way it’s easier to know how many orders you did throughout the year. Also upgrading the main page to where it looks more like a webpage. Like you can view some of the products before tapping on the request order page. Other than that, I really like this app and I will continue to use this.

I have been using this app for a year and it has helped keep me extremely organized. It’s also very user friendly and simple for my customers when they are making an order.My only wish is if we had the capability to go back in edit the payment amount after the order has been marked “confirmed” . When I send out my invoices I require a deposit to secure the order. I have had several occasions on large orders where my customer will pay the deposit, (once received I will confirm the order and the system automatically updates the balance left remaining) then a few days later they will pay more money to pay down the balance before their pickup. Once I confirm the order it doesn’t allow me to go back and edit the amount left remaining, I have to keep track of that in the notes section.Other than that I really and truly LOVE this app!

The app is okay and I can see how some businesses find it helpful. I had an issue the first time using it and getting orders where my venmo link didn’t fully paste (seemingly due to a character limit) causing a customer to pay the wrong person for their order. They said they’d investigate and I never heard back. I’m hoping this issue was fixed, but I still don’t know. I was also hoping to be able to offer a preorders and set item limits on my end. For example I’m offering up to 6 total sourdough loaves on a particular day. Once that number is hit it wouldn’t allow any more orders for that item. I was told that feature was coming in the latest update, but it doesn’t seem to be there. I would also love the ability to manually enter orders without a customers email or phone number required. Some of my customers don’t seem to like the extra step of putting info/ordering in Bakesy. I’d like the option to enter the order myself with their name and no other info just so I can keep track of orders more easily.
