Shows are delivered to your home over an app in a streaming format, but the service is also designed for an easy and relaxing traditional LIVE TV SURFING experience. Hay Xstream TV presents the best of both content-viewing experiences.
The Hay Xstream TV app can be loaded to multiple supported mobile devices, playback devices and smart TVs, and will be conveniently located alongside your other purchased OTT content apps and Hay TV Everywhere apps like Global Go, CTV, Hollywood Suite(remove), CRAVE, TSN, SN NOW etc.
The basic streaming package comes with two streams, five hours of recording cloud storage, Essential TV channels and restart TV. Add streams, recoding hours and channels as needed.
A stream allows viewing on one screen. If you want to watch content on the living room TV and on a mobile device, AT THE SAME TIME, you will need additional streams.
Features:
Restart & Replay – If you missed the beginning of a show on Live TV, you can restart. Replay - Watch a program up to 72 hours after it has aired. Individual programmers determine Replay availability and conditions.
DVR – Record and store programs without a set-top box. Five hours of complimentary storage is included with your service. Increase storage up to 200 hours, depending on how many shows you want to record and watch later. Set and manage recordings from your mobile device when you are away from home.
User Profiles – Up to five users can set-up a profile for easy access to their personal viewing history. Create a PIN to enable parental controls.
Multiple Devices – Watch TV content on your mobile phone, tablet, laptop or smartTV. Most major streaming devices are supported including Apple TV.
Hay TV Channels. Choose from pre-set TV packages or build your own viewing experience with small themes and Pick ‘n Pay options.
Xstream TV is exclusive to the service area covered by Hay Communications.
