I’ve tried hundreds of iPhone manga apps, si far this is the best one in the content category. It has all the mangas I was reading from apps that eventually got taken down and more. The only problem is the interface, I can’t find my favorites list, changing between categories can be a hassle, same with anything that goes to top of screen and other details. If they fix these things, it’d be the perfect app.

The old Mangazone app was the best Manga reading app. Yes there were issues at times, but it would have been better to fix the issues rather than make a subpar app. The Facebook page, website, as well as add and link from Mangafox all still exist for Mangazone but link to this new app. My main issue with this new app is that even though you can favorite manga there is no favorites section or a way to sort the favorites. It really seems pointless. Add in the fact that favorites lists from the old app could not be carried over. I had over 400 mangas on my favorites list. There is no way I can remember them all to re-favorite especially if I have to search for them every time I go into the app. I can understand if you wanted to make changes to the app, and or change the name. However having easy access to your favorite mangas is a really big deal, and the loss of existing favorites is even bigger. I’d either recommend getting rid of this app and just fixing/updating the old one. Or add a favorites section and allow a way for readers from the old app to import or recover their existing list.

It is slowly removing some mangas I had to delete then I reinstalled it and most of the ones I was reading are suddenly gone And it’s not just (though some are) some small one im also saying things like my hero academia , one punch man, demon slayer. So I’m kinda curious where half the things went.Update: it got worse They started to promote mangas that not everyone likes and drive down the possibility of finding one you like but don’t quite remember the name of, the only few I can find are a few near the top on the sort option or the 1 or 2 I remember the name of. That being said it was fine for a while, somewhat bearable, even without a favorites tab and with so many manga I didn’t want to read. Now it’s just a convoluted mess, and finding any that I like is almost impossible. Find something else to use.

The favorites everyone mentions is a hassle. Especially when you don’t sit and read a whole manga in one sitting. (After having to re-search for mine multiple times, I had to sit and read it in one sitting, since it wouldn’t keep my spot either.) The search is kinda off. I was trying to read Tokyo Revengers. Searching this does pull it up. But you have to sift through so many other titles with the word Tokyo in it before it’s shown. Other than that, it’s mostly usable. It would glitch every now and again and not load, which would cause me to fling the app and reboot to mess with the search again.
