New ideas for the family
AdventureNow offers new ideas for the family to get out and about locally. It’s a great reminder of things that we have been wanting to do but haven’t and new ideas we haven’t thought of. It has many categories to choose from so there is something for everyone!
Great idea, but missing a couple features
I just want to start by saying I definitely use this app and highly recommend downloading it. It’s great when you just don’t know what you want to do or what you’re in the mood for.
Though, there are a few things I wish it would do. The first, and most important for me, is I wish it gave the choice to connect with Google Maps instead of the Maps default, since I rarely use Apple Maps. Also, some of the phrasing they use for their search function is a bit off- for example, they’ll just search “tea” or “coffee” for otherwise specific ideas, like English-style high tea, or Take an Art of Tea Serving lesson, things like that. This function tends to either sweep too broadly or too narrowly (for example, in the “go to a gaming center” search function it misses several places in the Houston area I know to qualify).
Still, it’s a new app and they’re coming out with new features every day, so these things certainly aren’t dealbreakers, just things I’d like to see in the future :)
Makes exploring so much easier!
This is such a great idea for an app! It gives you a great selection of activities to look through with more options within the activity. It’s a really easy to use app, the only thing is it only works with Apple Maps! Would love if it had the option to search through google maps as well!
But I’ve already discovered new activities around me that are accesible even during this pandemic!
