Will not go below 4800 bps; Menu addressing doesn't work

In serial mode, this program seems to work at 9600 BPS and above. It will not do 4800 or lower, even manually entering the values. Thus, it is usesless for commuinicating with many devices that default at 4800 or below. Also, the menu addressing of USB serial addresses doesn't work. You must manually enter the address.

Let's face it... Anything you use a serial terminal for in 2022 is going to be a legacy application. For whatever reason this application will not go below 9600 bps. This software would be perfect for what I need it for, but no... I need 2400 to talk to this legacy equipment. I don't understand the rationale of of leaving the common rates of 300, 1200, and 2400 out of the options, but it does and leaves me looking for another solution.
