Makes Ordinary Phones Extraordinary!

This is a transformative app—especially the widget because it brings my mind up toward the celebration of the liturgy every day & year round even when looking at my phone! My mom also got it, and she would benefit from the text enlarging for the readings. Her phone is set to have larger text, and the main calendar has slightly larger font, but the readings don’t enlarge at all based on her phone’s font setting. This will discourage her from using the app.Overall, I am glad to have a quick reference for which feast day to celebrate today! Now I can easily reference feast days when I am praying the liturgy of the hours with the 4 volume book set when I want to celebrate a special holy day!

July 2022 Update: I am now rolling out larger font for Mass Readings!I’ll look into the font size on the readings. I’m having to do some special formatting things to get all of the formatting from the missal. Italics, bold, etc… so it’s not as easy as flipping a switch like the celebrations page. Thanks for the positive review!

Perfect for widgets. My only feature suggestion would be to incorporate the option of having some sort of sacred art or visual for each feast day or major feast days. Would be great to have more sacred art aesthetics on my home screen without needing to install a weird photo widget app.

Its a decent enough widget that does what it does, but information regarding the Saints seems limited. In the preview images on the Appstore Page, there is an image that says "read a short summary of the saints". When I go into the App, Ill tap on the Saint, and nothing happens. Ill tap on the "Book" icon on the bottom, and a context menu for the readings of the day will pop up, but again, no summary or information on the Saint.Perhaps I am using it wrong! Otherwise, it is useful, just not in the way I had hoped!

This app itself is very simple and easy to use. But what I love the most is the Lock Screen widget. When I pick up my phone in the morning I can see what day it is right away. Love it!
