Bought this thinking that surely using Twitter's tweet link copy feature would be supported.Latest update 1.03: Nope.Just add functionality so that power users can provide their own regex and stop playing this game of updating the app to update the supported links.Upate 09/09/2022:1.0.4 - Nope, not Twitter support.The developer is considering allowing users to provide regex data and asked for sample URL(s) that anybody with a Twitter account could provide or they could create an account themselves.They took so long to reply to my review, I've already left Twitter over the Elon Musk deal announcement months ago (which happened after my review). 1 star for replying eventualy, but the effort was about chasing everyone's use case rather than doing the right thing and doing the research themselves and giving the users that know how to fill in the gaps a method of updating the dataset.I'm sure even potential buyers would like to see a list of what is supported before they buy. I know I would have.

When I share links with friends, I always remove the UTM parameters from the URL. This app takes the work out of doing it manually.Thanks!

Copied Tweet links still contain tracking query strings, the only thing I bought this for. Total waste of $2 bucks. No apparent way to add in the schema to remove, either.

I'm sorry this wasn't working for you. This app does remove common tracking query strings. It might not work if there are extra spaces before or after the URL. As long as your text is an URL and Copy Cleaner is running, it will remove the common tracking in your Mac clipboard (when you paste the link). As long as your text is an URL and Copy Cleaner is running, it will remove the common tracking in your Mac clipboard (when you paste the link). Unfortunately doesnt work on Facebook, Amazon, and just about every other well known site I have tested it with. I still have to go into the URL and delete everything after the question mark when I copy and paste URLs. I'm not actually sure what this application does.

With the app running, you can copy URLs in macOS. If the app detects your copied text is an URL, it will try to remove common tracking params (such as fbclid, utm_source, etc) in the URL. That's it. You do not have to manually delete these as the app will do it for you. Keep in mind, the app doesn't delete everything after the question mark (?); it only deletes common trackers. Add optional setting to only clean if starts with "http" (case insensitive). Also update tracker removal list
