Description

Classes helps college students organize learning and track studying, to guide and plan revision for their courses.

Classes works best for courses with lots of discrete content to learn, e.g., medicine, nursing, dentistry.

# ADVANCED CURRICULUM ORGANIZATION
Keep useful information in one place and ensure you don’t forget to study anything.
• Add all your lessons and learning outcomes, so you can browse everything in one place.
• Share lessons with other people on your course.
• Use customizable, colorful categories to organize lessons in a way that works best for you.
• Add links to useful resources, such as lecture slides, research articles, and your notes.
• Everything is synced securely over iCloud to all of your devices

# EXTENSIVE STUDY TRACKING
Track your revision to help you prioritize lessons needing the most work.

• Tick off which lessons you have attended, to ensure you don’t fall behind.

• Whenever you study a lesson, note down what you did, next steps, and self-evaluate how well you know it using a simple traffic light system. This helps you to dynamically changing your study plan to prioritize topics which need the most work.

# RICH MAC SUPPORT
Classes has been highly optimized for Mac, and includes the following features:
• Multiple windows
• Widgets
• Siri Shortcuts
• iCloud
• Spotlight Search
• Light and Dark Mode
• Accessibility: VoiceOver
• Calendar integration
• Customizable window layout

• Improved the wording of VoiceOver accessibility hints for several controls
• Added help hints for more controls and elements displaying information
• Added a label for the show statistics button to improve discoverability

• When deleting a category, added the option to also delete the lessons belonging to this category
• The default course shown when adding Widgets and Siri Shortcuts actions will respect the default course selected within the main app
• Creating a course will cause the new course to be selected within the app automatically

# Visual Design Improvements:
• Upgraded the help buttons in the 'Add Tag' and 'Add Course’ screen to the default macOS help buttons, to match other apps
• Updated the Course & Categories help screen to remove redundant text

Developer Response ,

Hi, thanks very much for your review, this is really useful and pleased you like it!

I am currently working on version 2 and am planning on adding lots of new features like support for multiple classes and ways to keep track of studying. I agree it would be great to note homework/assignments too and add more study tools like the ones you’ve mentioned, so these are awesome suggestions and I’ll have a think about how best to implement them!

I hope this will be ready for the new term after summer, and if there is anything else you would particularly like to see, please feel free to send a feedback email to let me know (in the Settings screen on iOS and Preferences window on Mac) 😊
