I think this game is awesome, just a few suggestions!

This game is great!! It takes me back to my childhood; during the days of Riding Star, Let’s Ride, Time to Ride, etc. Graphics are fantastic and clearly bug fixes are a priority!

Just a few suggestions I think might make the game more fun! A replay button after rounds, specifically for the dressage tests (blame my inner dressage queen for that) would be super cool!

A clearly accessible rule book, not just a tutorial in the beginning! I’ve been trying to raise stats on my horses, but it’s not clear to me how to do that so I’m arbitrarily setting goals for myself to advance in the game.

Maybe instead of a limited list of daily challenges, have both daily and long term achievements? As of right now, it usually only takes me about 10 minutes to complete all the daily challenges, and it would be awesome if I could keep working toward in game goals vs. the ones I set for myself!

Also, it would be fun if there was a Facebook forum or in-game chat where players could communicate with each other, kind of like Horseland and Horse Isle. Of course, I understand the target audience for this game is not likely to be my generation, so safeguards for the youngsters is a must!

As a lifelong connoisseur of horse games, thank you for creating such a thorough, detailed, and fun game! Hopefully my suggestions help!

Love the game but it’s definitely buggy

I understand the game is new but it’s pretty buggy. I love the concept and I can’t wait to see future updates because this game definitely has potential. I would give it more stars but I’m getting pretty annoyed at a lot of the bugs that I’ve come across. The one that has annoyed me the most is how buggy the teams seem to be. I spent gold horseshoes to create a team and within a day my team just disappeared like I never created it. Also while I had the team although myself and teammates were earning “team points” we were still at zero? Not quite sure how that works. I definitely want to create that team again... but maybe I’ll wait until a patch/update comes out so I don’t end up wasting 50 gold horseshoes to do it.

The controls are a bit clunky but I like the lay out. It’s really hard to do well consistently as the timing aspect, timed arrows, doesn’t seem to have much affect on whether you get a perfect jump or not. As soon as you think you figured it out you end up failing or getting “good” jumps.

Also the gaits could use a little work but for a mobile game they’re not bad at all. Overall I’m pretty happy with the game and all the potential it has. It definitely needs to be polished up but once the bugs are fixed and the game is smoothed out a bit I think it will be one of the best mobile horse games available. It’s just a diamond in the rough right now.

Good to see another horse app game

This was a surprise to see on the App Store! It’s definitely a good start for a quality horse app game. I wanted to give it 5 stars (Horse enthusiast and rider here!) but found the game lacking in a few areas. Of course, I know that’s to be expected since the game only just released. Currently steering the horse is incredibly clonky, at times it’s like controlling a whale, honestly. Whether it’s something to do with the training or what it’s just unwieldy at times particularly in dressage or when the horse decides it no longer wants to run straight in cross country. The brushing mini game is a bit strange at times because you can’t tell where the dirt is once the horse is mostly clean and it ends up with an angry horse when you brush the wrong places.

Outside of that I know the game can only grow from here on and out but here’s some suggestions! The ability to name our horses would be great with defined genders of stallions/mares. In addition, what’s a horse game without the addition of breeding horses and raising your next champion produced from your own horses (look to Rival Stars Horse Racing!)

Sorry for the long review but hey if you’re reading this at all, kudos to the beginnings of an awesome game!
