BLHuntClub App (BL) is an App written for the members of the Bennet Lake Hunting Club, headquartered in northern Mississippi. Membership is open to anyone through the application process. Email BLHC_MS@hotmail.com for information. Once a member, access to the App’s functionality will be provided. This App was written to disseminate information to the members and for safety of all members in the club.
The BLHuntClub App allows Users to maintain up to date information about the club’s stands, food plots, cameras, gates, and owned and leased recreational property. The App’s features include:
- Ability to map your current location and obtain wind information at your spot. This becomes useful when trying to decide to hunt at that location or not.
- Mark Your Spot: The ability to save your current location as a hunting stand, wildlife food plot, access gate, or simply mark your vehicle so you can return to it in the dark!
- Stand List: A database of the GPS coordinates and notes of your saved stands, food plots, wildlife cameras, access gates, and saved property outlines.
- Mark Property Boundaries: Quickly mark a plot of land by touching a map and creating an outline of any property. Total acreage is then computed.
- Sun/Moon: Gives the moon phase and sunrise/sunset at your current location. Must-have information so you will know when you can hunt and when what the moon phase is!
- Range Finder: Compute the distance from your current location to any point on a map that you touch.
- Update Stands & Properties: This allows Members to download, and keep an up to date, all club stands, properties, and locations of interest. All of which are administered by BL’s Admin personnel online.
An account to use this App is obtained after joining the BL Hunting Club. Once you are a member, a Username and Password will be provided to use as access credentials for the App and it's functionality. When the time comes and you are no longer a member, access to the App’s functionality will be limited.
