Letter Reversals is a common challenge for young children to overcome. The difference between a "b" and a "d" can be difficult to identify. This app will help children to clearly identify and remember the unique shape of the letters b, d, g, p, and q. First start with the Learning Center where the child can learn the shape of each letter, hear it's name, see how to write it correctly, and practice tracing the letter themself! Then they can practice with the Letter Charts where they are tasked with identifying the letters on the chart and watching the chart turn color with each correct answer. This activity has 3 charts to cycle through and practice with. In the classroom we made charts like this and had the children color in each letter with colored pencil. Now we can do it easily on the iPad. We know this set of activities will be very helpful for children to overcome these challenges in reading and writing and make language enjoyable for them to learn.
