CoreLife Eatery 4+

I am delighted to know about this restaurant by accident but sad that I didn’t know about them sooner because I am a vegan for 8 years and they have been in Indy for 6yrs.

It’s nice to know, I can build a Buddha bowl without making it at home and enjoy the foods I eat daily. I was swept off my feet about the juice mixing with the beet and cranberries juice. I was taken into another dimension when I had the chocolate cashew smoothie. May taste buds are dancing with happy notes all the way home.

I am so happy that I will be sharing this place with many vegan friends and family member that aren’t vegan. I am a “Core 4life Eatery” customer.

Decided to try my local CoreLife Eatery after recently moving here, and ordered a steak and blue salad and a side of oven roasted brussels sprouts with maple drizzle as a takeout order only to get home to discover my steak and blue salad was missing the blue cheese, bacon, and the walnuts - and the brussels sprouts contained 4 hard, sizable stalks from the plant that are not only inedible, but are a significant choking hazard. I immediately called CoreLife and the person I spoke to was very nonchalant and didn’t even apologize. She just said bring everything back and we’ll do it over or refund you but they had just closed for the night so I was out of luck - and would driving back be worth my time or effort? No…. If you can’t even remember to put blue cheese on a salad with blue cheese is in the name, I don’t have much faith in this eatery. They are fortunate I found the brussels sprouts stems before one got stuck in my throat.

I really like the food here. This is my fourth time eating here. A couple of the young ladies that work here are very rude though. The manager had to step in and fix my order for me because one of the young ladies were so rude to me today. I’m glad he stepped in to help me because I like eating the food here. It’s sad that some people discriminate against black men in this town.
