Hi B3aur, everyone with a mobile device is eligible to compete in Skillz competitions! Cash competitions are available to all players over the age of 18 in areas of the world where cash gameplay is enabled. Skillz cash tournaments are currently available in about 75% of the world. Cash tournaments are not yet enabled in certain countries, as well as the following states: AZ, AR, CT, DE, LA, MT, SC, SD, and TN. Additionally, cash gameplay is currently not available in ME and IN if playing cards are involved, and cash matches are not available in Dominoes Gold in New Jersey. I hope this info helps.

Hi Bigbubblebitxh, we take player matching and fairness very seriously. Because of this, there is a structure of match-matching players in a very specific way. Skillz uses algorithms to match players based on ability level and game history to make sure that every tournament is fair. Currently, most matching is done asynchronously. In asynchronous games, both players play the same match with the same conditions, but they do not have to play at the same time. The moves that one player makes do not affect the other player’s game. I hope this info helps.
