IMPORTANT NOTE: Scaniverse uses LiDAR to scan the world. As a result, it only works on devices with a LiDAR sensor: the iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and 2020 iPad Pro.
Scan the world in 3D with Scaniverse, a brand-new 3D scanning app that uses LiDAR to build 3D models with a high level of fidelity.
Scaniverse captures scenes in stunning detail, allowing you to build highly accurate models of objects, rooms, and even whole buildings and large outdoor environments. Share your scans via iMessage with friends and family, where they can be viewed in AR.
With Scaniverse Pro (available via in-app purchase), you can export your models to the most popular 3D formats, including FBX, glTF, USDZ, OBJ, and STL. Models created with Scaniverse are metrically accurate, and can be imported into 3D modeling software such as Blender and Maya, game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine, as well as most CAD programs. Scaniverse can enhance your workflow by allowing you to quickly capture any object as 3D reference.

• You can now share your 3D scans with WhatsApp, Signal, GMail, and other messaging and email apps. Press Share > Send in Message, then select the app you want to use. As before, you can also share to your contacts with iMessage.
• Need to find an old scan? Try the new Grid View to see more on screen at once. You can switch between List View and Grid View with the toggle in the upper-right.

Please add front facing LiDAR
This is the greatest implementation of the LiDAR Scanner available on iPhone. This app is astonishing and very promising, the subscription is actually worth it; first time I have ever felt this way.
Please make the front camera available for higher resolution and perhaps object-oriented scans. THIS APP IS GAME-CHANING. Please keep up the amazing updates.
The best of them
I tried four apps before this one and they were all rubbish. This was definitely the best of them, just wish there was a good guide on scan technique because it definitely requires some practice and skill.
