What a wonderful gift to get. Anytime I go outside I can just take my phone and I can find Raquel in the sky. It was really easy to set up and we gave we bought two of them and gave one as a gift. She will ever live in the stars of heaven.

App doesn't work and support doesn't listen

Like the other 1 star reviewers, I paid extra for a bright star and can not locate it using the app. I wait 24 hours to get each response from support and it is the same sentence everytime. "Use the app and follow the instructions". The app shows a map with the star, but no way to direct you to the star. I finally gave up, because the recipient's birthday has passed. I requested a refund. I just downloaded a competitor's app and see that their app moves and turns when you do and always shows the exact point in the sky to look at. I checked to make sure that this app also had location services on and it did. It is just plain broken. New iPhone. Up to date OS. Suffering with tech support for 2 weeks. What a waste. I would have given it more time had tech support actually cared. But again, just the same canned response over and over. The company loses a lot of points from this. They lose me and any future purchases they get a poor review. I will find another company that has no connection to this one.

You’ll regret it
When buying/naming/registering a star (whatever the site calls it), the site portrays that you can find your star whenever you want to with the app (of course with it being dark enough and weather appropriate, as in no clouds). The app has no instructions… all you can hope to do is point your phone in the sky and see an arrow pointing. No matter how many times you twist and turn and do all the things with your phone in the sky… nothing. I followed all directions (or lack there of) that was provided with the certificate… be prepared that all you get with this is a certificate “saying” you named a star and bogus instructions on how to locate “said” Star. 😡😡.. this is very disappointing for friends and family that this was a gift for.. especially being that my best friend passed away and this was a heavenly gift to her and I upgraded to the frame to be sent to her mom along with the certificate… save your $

I really was excited by the thought of registering a star for my wife and even paid extra to get the brightest possible star that they offer. However once I received my stars location number in the app I could not move the phone to locate my star. The way they advertise it is that you can actually see your star from wherever you are using the app which does not seem to be true. I contacted support and we went back-and-forth a couple of times I even sent him a video showing that it did not work and they did not have any resolution for me so I actually ended up canceling and getting a refund if you are looking to buy or register a star you should probably look elsewhere
