## Fuzzy Inventory Search
- Fuzzy searching allows for finding approximate matches rather than exact matches.
- This means that even if a user mistypes a word or enters a partial search, the fuzzy search can still provide relevant results by considering similar terms or patterns.
- Fuzzy searching is important for mobile devices because it helps overcome the challenges posed by the small screen size, limited input options, and potential typing errors on mobile keyboards.
- Fuzzy searching has been added on the items page and the item selector page.
- The search is based on a weighted search where a higher value has more influence. The following weights are applied:
1. Product ID: 3
2. Description: 2
3. Everything Else: 1
## Transfer Items Between Storerooms
- The transfer item feature allows users to easily move items between storerooms.
- This feature can be found here: Dashboard -> Items -> Tools -> Transfer Items.
- Upon selecting this feature, users will be prompted to enter a target storeroom, which serves as the destination for the item.
- Users can scan or select items from a list and then enter the transfer quantity per item.
- There are two possible outcomes when an item is sent to a storeroom:
1. If an item with the same product ID already exists, the on-hand value will increase based on the entered quantity.
2. If the item does not already exist, it will be created with the on-hand value set to the entered quantity.
## Cycle Count / Restock
- The restock feature enables the user to easily manage the transition of items from the backstock to the forward stock.
- On the "Pick Your Own" Cycle Count page, you will be presented with a modal that prompts the user to select either "Cycle Count" or "Restock". This choice can be changed later using the "Type" input at the top of the page.
- If the user selects "Cycle Count", things will operate as normal. The items' on-hand value will be set to the quantity entered.
- If the user selects "Restock", there will be two inputs on the items' component instead of one. The two inputs are "Restock Amount" and "Quantity After Restock". Please refer to the other comment for the formula that will be used to set the on-hand value.
