Vuka+ is designed to support women by providing health and wellness information, connection to a supportive community of other women, and resources about relationships, wellness, and sexual health. The Vuka+ app adapts and builds on the HealthMpowerment intervention platform which was created by Lisa Hightow-Weidman, MD, MPH, a Distinguished and Endowed McKenzie Professor at Florida State University’s College of Nursing and Founding Director of the Institute on Digital Health and Innovation. Vuka+ features new health and wellness tools and information developed by a team of young people and health professionals led by CONRAD and supported with funding from The United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Vuka+ users need a code to open the app. To learn more, email us at Vuka@nursing.fsu.edu or visit https://healthmpowerment.org/vuka-study/.
