Hey guys this is a really cool app I use math when trying to get through a tough depersonalization/derealization episode and this is the best yet I’ve used a math majong game which is good too but I recommend getting this and trying out the 3 day free trial and maybe sticking with it because you just can’t find these type of games on a console obviously and I love the interface as well the only issue I have so far is with the trainer for the fast math part of the app. The issue I have is that when I first tried it,it would give you feed back on what the fastest time is for each FastMath timed test or whatever to give an example Fast would be 0.9secs,average would be let’s say 1.3 secs & bad/slowest would be let’s say 4 secs. So I noticed that no matter how many times I would repeat the same test I would either score average which would be like 1.3 or slightly better because I would use my calculator to figure out that I would score at 1.3 or like 1.25 or 1.27 or something. I would have no issue scoring average or slightly above average my issue is the game seems to automatically keep me average as if the developers of the game weren’t able to actually have enough data from enough players playing the game so they just set the game to always having you score in the average range unless you score bad because of being slow or purposely taking your time to score at the slowest rate. To the developers of the app please please please don’t take my review or criticism negatively it was just a nitpick and I could completely understand not being able to have the data from players to have real time scores and have us players really see how we truly stack up. I’m only saying it would completely blow up the app experience to out of this world!!! If you could have the real time data! Thanks for this great app! 👍

Thanks so much for your thoughtful review and kind words! We’re thrilled that Numbio has been helpful for you, and we appreciate your detailed feedback.Just to clarify—the “fastest,” “average,” and “slowest” times in the Numbio trainer are based on your own answer speeds within a test, not a comparison to other players. That said, we love your idea about showing scores compared to other users and will definitely think about how we could incorporate something like that in the future!If you have any other suggestions or questions, feel free to email us at hello@numbio.com. Thanks again for your support, and happy math-ing!
Makes math fun

This app does a great job of gamifying math problems and keeping me interested in improving. My favorite time to use it is in between sets at the gym. It’s the perfect 1 minute break before you get back to work. Also kinda weird finding but the more tired I get the better I get. Best score I’ve gotten was after a heavy squat and had a head rush. Either way great game and couldn’t think of a way to improve it

Thanks for the awesome review! We love hearing how Numbio fits into your gym routine. Maybe heavy squats are the secret to mental math mastery! 😄 Keep enjoying those head rush high scores, and if you ever have ideas or feedback, drop us a line at hello@numbio.com
Fastmath -> Numbio: Update Review
pnenov90
Annoying update that has degraded experience as identified below but also some positives.1. The primary tests have changed to a much more cluttered ui, smaller font + keyboard… no real benefit… harder to read and input with less relevant info taking up more space.2. Where did the total problems solved count go?? Vanished from stats3. Surely the ai features should be more thoughtful vs just suggesting tricks. For example, the app should log the problems you have solved and identify frequent errors or problems that take longer to solve. There should be some central database on the backend that can suggest to stop spending time on medium addition and to swap to multiplication bc you’ll get better in aggregate, etc.4. Stats log is still woefully bad. It should have time to solve problem, initial input, the type of problem and the problem itself - this would enable a more robust ai analsysisPositives: Some nice additions with new problem types like word problems, sequences, etc. but would like these to be proper tests as well so that there are leaderboards etc. .. squares should have proper training too with ability to select own drills
Developer Response
Thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed review, this is exactly the kind of feedback that shapes the app. Point by point: the latest update (4.3.0) brings the exercises back to a single line by default, and in the settings you can pick the layout, the math symbol style, and larger keypad buttons. On the total-problems-solved count: you're right, it didn't make it into the new stats, and we've noted bringing it back. On AI: AI Picks already analyzes your results to recommend what to practice, and deeper error and solve-time analysis like you describe is something we'll definitely consider, as are richer per-problem stats and leaderboards for the new problem types. Update via the App Store page and let us know how it feels at hello@numbio.com.
A well done, practical, easy to use app
Smithie jr
This app has a clean structure and is very intuitive and easy to use. I just wanted to find an app to strengthen my mental math abilities and this app is by far the best one I’ve found. I can just practice my speed in things like addition and multiplication and my progress is tracked so I can view my improvement which I like. This among other things, the creators went above and beyond.
