Description

JST School of Weaving is a series of instructional lessons where weavers learn at their own pace to weave on 4 shaft looms or continue on their weaving journey with renowned and sought-after instructor and designer Jane Stafford.

Each lesson demonstrates step by step instructions and will inspire weavers to design and create the best possible cloth they can – to care about graphic, colour, hand, and drape – from beginners wondering where to start, to experienced production weavers searching for new horizons.

What a gift!

I’m a rusty, yet new weaver (I had stopped because too much time had gone by-and I couldn’t figure out how to restart). And Jane’s classes have me trying things I would have never known To Try! It’s so fun, and I’ve learned little tidbits that make the whole experience joyful.

I appreciate the artistry and creativity, as well as the technical skills that Jane offers. She is so gifted at teaching skills AND offering inspiration! Color, patterns, and making the right fabric for the project (cut off and re-sley at a different epi?!! I didn’t know I could do that!) I’m only on season 2, so I still have so much to learn.

Such a great gift to myself. (And my family and friends are amazed at their new tea towels!) 😂

Thank you, thank you!

Amazing app and very user friendly

The School of Weaving app is absolutely wonderful! My sister and I live miles apart but always wish we could weave together. Now we can! We are going to pick a new learning project from the JST site every month (or two) and get out of the rut of doing the same old comfortable thing. It beats the dickens out of watching television!
Thank you for making weaving exciting!

School of Weaving App

I loved the old website, but I love the App more! So excited I could add it to my streaming TV and can watch on the big screen instead of my iPad or computer. As a new weaver who is learning on her own through books and websites, finding the School of Weaving was a blessing!
