Login with the Zapp Wallet
A secure, fast, and convenient way for users to log into Zapps, and for apps to ask for permissions to access data.
Download the ZAPP wallet and start to own your data.
Imagine you are playing your favourite game or using your favourite running app and want to keep track of your score. The Zapp Wallet lets you log in, just like any other social media login system. When you zap an app, you log in and connect the Zapp Wallet to the app.
From this point forward, your data is connected to your wallet's public address instead of your e-mail address or social media profile. Sharing your user data (e-mail address, profile picture, friends list, ...) to be able to save points, stars, scores and other in-game items like subscription data is history.
Why use the Zapp Wallet?
Properly protecting user credentials is difficult, and each year billions of user records are exposed through database breaches. With the Zapp Wallet each user manages their own credentials through blockchain technology. Therefore being much safer from hackers than centralised social media companies. Once the Zapp Wallet is installed you can log into all Zappermint supported apps we call Zapps.
NOTE:
We don’t have databases that store information from users. In fact, we just don't have databases in general. Everything is stored on the blockchain and on your device locally.
