Here's what's new: - Historical Session Grid: Easily view previously collected sessions for targets directly within the Locator app. At this time, sessions are limited to those collected through the 4Sight UCM platform only. Sessions ingested through the 4Sight Explorer platform will be supported in a future release. - Session Filters: Narrow down your searches by filtering for sessions of interest in the new session grid. - Comprehensive Metadata Access: Gain access to all metadata for historical sessions, including documents, location maps, raw IRI events, session history, and audio metadata. - Customizable Metadata Views: Personalize your session metadata layout by adding, removing, or configuring the order of fields to suit your needs. - Changed the required permission in order to get notifications about new sessions. Permission change is now in line with UCM: "Mobile Device" -> "Session Tiles" is now the required permission

The 16.5 release of Locator focuses on resolving bugs and does not introduce any new major functions or features. The following issues have been addressed in this release: - Metadata Consistency: Resolved an issue where session metadata in Locator did not match the metadata in UCM. - Extended Security Option: Fixed a problem where system administrators were unable to enforce the Extended Security option through the Plist file. Now, Plist files will be imported into the device's secure keychain on the first launch of the app, enabling the Extended Security option.

A new version of locator is being released. This version is entirely designed to improve the security of the app and the platform. The fixes include: - Removal of sensitive information from the .plist file after switching to secure configuration mode. - Added Built-in Binary protection to prevent Stack Smashing. - Removed support for third party keyboards. - Changes to usage of Local Authentication framework. - Users should enable the Extended Security mode in the configuration window, as it will soon become the default setting and other modes will be deprecated. Users should not experience any changes when using the Locator app other than the peace of mind knowing the app is more secure.
