While, I do believe the app is a good app, there has been one big unresolved issue from the very beginning. The application keeps telling me that Bluetooth is not connected or it is not connected to Bluetooth. The app is definitely connected to Bluetooth as it’s giving me information regarding the car, however, your company has never resolved this issue. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and reconnected many times even with your online help to no avail. Please fix the issue. Thank you.

I give this app 5 star today because I focused on the functionality I found in the app after I had a lengthy and upsetting call and another visit to Audi Dealer and apparently, the dealer representative attempted to literally turn me around without doing the full check the Audi connect has ordered to be done; I had to call Audi connect again and the Agent spoke with the Dealer Agent, some trouble shooting done, system did work and I was told no technician available at the moment and appointment set up for following week.I got home, after a few hours, I went back to my car, started it and open the glove box, I see both light is green and one blinking; I thought oh! Maybe it’s finally working, I opened the Motion app and bam! It’s working. The details of functionality I saw in the app was better that the previous Audi app-that’s why 5 stars despite the tremendous issues I experienced.Please train the technicians and the customers should be made aware before hand to download the motion app and create account so that after installation, customer can drive around and ensure it’s working before leaving Dealership to save time and energy and save Audi reputation!I have followed all the steps of setup, app stuck at “ go for a short drive to complete setup”. Short drive done multiple times, yet app not open fully. Called Audi dealer that installed the device in car and left message, no response.

Really surprised at the good deeds Audi did here to give us this for free. I received access to this app once I took my S5 in for a recall that replaced my 3G cell service computer for 4G. I was thinking about buying a subscription to the old MMI just for the gps tracking service but the salesmen told me straight up it wasn’t worth it. Well surprised me to find out this new app gives it to us for free now. Not only that but it’s been helpful in telling me other information like when my battery is draining when I listen to music with the engine off, which the car kind of did before but now all kinds of notifications like that are supplemented with graphs and data. Love it. I live in Seattle so I’ve set a geo fence around my garage at the lowest distance so that if someone breaks in or moves the car, I’ll be alerted. Textbook definition of good free over the air updates. Looks like Audi is taking a page from Apple and Tesla here. 5 stars.

This app doesn’t has a fraction of the features AudiConnect had. To be honest this appears to be more Audi’s fault than this app. I have a 2018 car which in my mind is still relatively new and Audi has decided to not support the virtual cockpit that I paid an extra $9000 for. Why did I pay all this extra money for a virtual cockpit with Google earth when I wouldn’t be able to use it a few years after buying the car? The fact is, I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED the virtual cockpit if Audi told me the truth, that in four years you wouldn’t be able to take advantage of all these feature you are purchasing. If they told customers this it would have cost them big money in sales, so they forgot to mention that part. I don’t want to hear about it being the telecommunications companies faults, “It’s because of the 3g turn down”, it’s not the phone companies responsibility to make sure the cellular connection on a $60,000 car remains compatible. This is 1000% on Audi, and unless they come up with a fix soon, I’ll never buy an Audi again, and either will my four family members that own one.
