This can be a challenge, especially when designing for languages that are not native to any of the team members. While putting together a comprehansive test-suite will already be a tedious process, testing the font across apps that use different shaping engines can be another! Hibizcus is a suite of font proofing and debugging tools that can help font developers create accurate and error free fonts for South Asian and South East Asian languages. It includes plenty of script and language data that help developers test the fonts for all the combinations letters, ligatures and marks required for the languages the fonts are targeted.
