Welcome to memoryConnect. We are applying proven memory techniques to encode and retain information. This is a comprehensive study prep app for the Cosmetology State Board Exam.
The app is comprised of (3) sections:
• Memory Flashcards: visual learning with mnemonic devices and other exercises to master concepts. Techniques include imagery effects, color-coding, mnemonic phrases, and repetition training. Find the best method or combination of methods that works best for your learning style and have fun with studying!
• Daily Reviews: optimized flashcard training presented in spaced learning events. We have implemented the SuperMemo 2 algorithm to calculate flashcard intervals based on your responses. Spaced repetition challenges your weakest areas of knowledge by presenting difficult concepts more frequently, yielding a highly effective way to encode and retain knowledge!
• Knowledge Test: 20 quick-fire quizzes for each category, as well as 3 comprehensive exams that provide explanations and further details. This format allows for on the go and offline studying!
