The PEMDAS App was made to supplement the website https://pemdas.info which explains and teaches you the order of operations. As the site explains, the order in which you do arithmetic operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, is important so that you get the correct answers. As such, the PEMDAS App will test your order of operations math skills. We hope you will find the app both educational and entertaining.

All this really does it list out the steps of PEMDAS, and then generate the math problems that are either easy or hard. So like most people struggling with this (I KNOW I followed the order!) we get these problems wrong and there is no explanation as to why that answer is correct and yours is wrong. This doesn’t teach you anything.

Thank you for your input. The latest version of this app now includes the equation used to solve each problem. This way, you can see what you did wrong.
