Enter notes to calculate intervals instantly! Learn intervals musically with Theory, Interval Quizzes & Ear Training—all in one app. Intervals are a core part of music theory. By understanding the concepts and practicing consistently, anyone can build a solid foundation in music. This app is divided into four areas—Interval Theory, Interval Calculator, Interval Test, and Interval Ear Training—with each area offering focused, specialized learning. • Interval Theory The theory section explains interval numbers (2nd, 3rd, etc.), simple and compound intervals, harmonic and melodic intervals, inverted intervals, and interval calculation in a clear, structured way—so anyone can understand the underlying principles with ease. • Interval Calculator Once you understand the theory, try calculating intervals yourself. When you place two notes on a staff, the interval name is calculated and displayed instantly. The same notes are also shown on a piano keyboard, helping you understand intervals more intuitively. You can also set key signatures and clefs to calculate more complex intervals with ease. • Interval Test You can choose options such as key signatures, accidentals, staff types, and clefs to create the kinds of interval questions you want. Build your skills by solving problems like a game—the tougher the options and the higher your score, the more dazzling the fireworks, giving you a strong sense of achievement. • Interval Ear Training It’s essential to recognize the unique “color” of each interval by ear. With practice, you can sharpen your listening skills. Choose relative or absolute pitch, melodic or harmonic intervals, difficulty level, and playback speed to create your own personalized ear-training sessions. • Interval Sight-Singing On the Interval Calculator screen, you can practice interval sight-singing by playing two notes one after another. Set the interval between the two notes to 2 seconds. After hearing the first note, imagine the pitch of the second note in your mind and sing it aloud. Then compare your own pitch with the note that actually plays to improve your ear and sense of pitch. The developer of this app has experience teaching students in a university music department. Drawing on that experience, the app was designed to help you understand music theory in a musical and practical way. We hope it will be a valuable resource for your musical journey.

* In the Interval Calculator, fixed an issue where accidental spacing appeared uneven for a unison with accidentals on both notes when the 'Chord' playback setting was selected. * Harmonic Interval Ear Training has been improved to support not only half notes, but also quarter, eighth, and sixteenth notes. * The app name has been changed from "Interval Test" to "Interval Calculator & Quiz."
