This app is a little useful because you can see what will be available to you on the flight.However, since Aer Lingus charges for in-flight Wi-Fi (something which is not made clear prior to taxi), pairing it with the seatback will require you to pay to connect to the plane Wi-Fi, which in my opinion is not worth it.

I found this app functionally limited in that some features require you to link via bluetooth to the console (privacy concern) or that it just didn’t connect and come up even when the phone was on inflight wifi. After issues on all 4 flights I just gave up and resorted to using the in seat console. I’m not saying it does t work at all, just that it’s so non-user friendly or difficult to connect for so long that you just give up and use in seat functionality. Already deleted it from my phone.

Not sure why this app gets no love. Works as advertised and for the price you can’t beat it!When connecting to seatback over Bluetooth you do need to be pretty quick to accept the connection of the seatback screen before it times out. Works fine, no complaints from me.

Downloaded prior to take-off and was able to open & view available movies and shows…but the moment we took off the app would no longer open or work on either my iPhone or iPad. I tried various options for the seven hour flight to get it to work (restart devices, cycle Wi-Fi on/off) and nothing…just a big green Aer Lingus screen that never opens. Useless app. Engineers and developers need to fix this ASAP. Test it on Wi-Fi on the actual airplane and figure out why it isn’t working.
