I used to use VLC Player for my mac to do the same thing but VLC hasn't aged well. Certain videos were not getting color right and looked faded. Tried this app out and fixed my problems. I use Pro Tools and use this video app in the background and it doesn't seam to cause any issues which is also fantasic.One request I have is that I'd like to be able to select more than one video at a time in the local wallpaper section. Having to import each one indevidually is a bit of a hasle but not a big deal in the grand scheme.

I really loved the wallpapers in this app! & they’re super cute, unique, and exactly the kind of aesthetic I was looking for to make my Mac feel special. I genuinely wanted this to be a long-term app for me.Unfortunately, I started having major system issues after installing it. The app kept running a background process that wouldn’t shut off, and it was putting a constant load on my graphics resources even when I wasn’t using the app. After a while, it actually broke my system audio, and the only way to fix it was to manually delete the app and the files it installed in my Library folders.I don’t normally leave reviews, but I got my computer by an absolute miracle, and I’m sure many other people are just like me… they want to make their computer look amazing without risking damage or weird system problems. This app has so much potential because the wallpapers themselves are great, but something is definitely going wrong with how it uses the GPU and background services.I hope the developer can fix that issue, because I would honestly try this app again if it ran safely. Until then, I had to uninstall it.

This application has some of the best wallpapers I’ve seen—dynamic too! I bought it to expand the wallpaper library, and I love that it’s a one-time payment. It’s not a subscription, and I don’t have to keep buying individual wallpapers that I’m interested in. It’s pro-consumer.
