因著神的恩典和帶領，播道會雅斤堂於2017年6月25日正式自立。我們經歷兩個三年的服事，六年前於2011年開始的第一個三年，播道會同福堂一班牧者與弟兄姐妹來到深水埗一帶外展、關懷街坊，並於三年後，他們被差派來到太子道西建立分堂，名為同福九龍西堂。於2014年6月7日開始第一堂崇拜，至今，牧者與弟兄姐妹一起經過第三個三年的服事，見證神的大愛和大能，逾千人信主。教會盡力牧養各人成長，跟隨耶穌，活出豐盛的生命。期間，在播道總會和同福堂鼓勵和支持下，播道會雅斤堂懷著感恩、謙卑和敬畏神的心自立，展開一段新的旅程。
雅斤堂的異象：成為一個轉化人生命的教會
人人在教會中更新，轉化成為耶穌的門徒，他們敬拜三一真神，過著豐盛的人生，尋回真我， 有著門徒的印記 (特徵 )，並樂於履行大誡命 ( 太 22 : 37 - 39 ) 和大使命 ( 太 28 : 19 - 20 )。
雅斤堂的使命 : 使人作門徒和關愛扶貧
有關使人作門徒方面，教會盼望能使任何渴慕神和渴求生命重整的人，遇見神、認識真理並經歷聖靈的轉化。教會銳意、埋身、委身、花時間、負責地培育每個生命成長，作耶穌的門徒，過程中有真理與實踐，愛與教導，牧養與督責。
作為耶穌門徒，我們視關愛扶貧乃是我們責無旁貸的使命，教會盼望能感染和改變社區，使無論是資源上或心靈上缺乏的人都能得著福音、看顧、關愛、牧養和供應。
