MyNetWorth Preview
Try MyNetWorth before you buy
Only for Mac
Free
MyNetWorth is a powerful and intuitive personal accounts manager. This Preview Version allows you to try MyNetWorth out before you commit to buy.
MyNetWorth helps you to keep track of your financial assets, liabilities, income, expenses and net worth by storing and processing the financial transactions that you make. This Preview Version has all the functionality of MyNetWorth except for the ability to archive transactions. However, it is limited to a maximum of 200 transactions. Once the limit of 200 transactions is reached, no more transactions can be saved to file. Please note, however, that all of the transactions saved to file by MyNetWorth Preview remain available to MyNetWorth; simply upgrade to the Full Version, navigate to the file saved by MyNetWorth Preview and open it.
With MyNetWorth Preview you can readily and easily:
- Reconcile your bank and credit card statements;
- Monitor your income and expenditure;
- Maintain constant awareness of your personal financial circumstances;
- Visualise where your money is, where it comes from and where it goes to;
- Detect unauthorised / unintended withdrawals.
MyNetWorth Preview supports:
- Split transactions (when multiple expense categories apply to a single payment);
- Scheduled transactions (which are processed automatically);
- Manual backup and restore;
- Bespoke report generation and printing;
- Importing transactions from CSV files exported from online banking websites.
- Exporting transactions, accounts trees and balance sheets to CSV files (for import into spreadsheets);
- Multiple sets of accounts;
- Multiple currency symbols and date formats.
MyNetWorth Preview displays your transactions in a series of views (as selected by you):
- Accounts View (list, edit and manage transactions by account);
- Payees View (list, edit and manage transactions by payee);
- Schedule View (list, edit and manage scheduled transactions and see future Net Worth and balances);
- Balances View (instantly see all of your account balances);
- Reports View (generate, print and export bespoke reports).
MyNetWorth Preview is designed to be intuitive but it comes with a built-in link to a web-based Apple Helpbook/User Guide so help is never far away. Please see the developer's website for more details.
more Fixes bug, introduced in V4.1 (to address the app crashing in macOS 27, when adding a credit transaction in the Accounts View), that empties the pre-populated From/To Account ComboBoxes, when editing or duplicating transactions in the Payees and Schedule Views.

The dates displayed all transactions tables are now set in accordance with the region associated with the full range of selected currencies (instead of just £ - Pound and $ US Dollar); however, Date Picker date formats remain either DD/MM/YYYY (for all but $ - US Dollar) or M/D/YY ( $ - US Dollar only).
Fixes a bug in Payees View, whereby scheduling an existing split transaction failed to copy its sub-transactions across to the Edit Scheduled Transaction Dialogue Box.
3.12 Jun 26
Following the addition of the capability to import transactions from a CSV file exported from an online banking app, the user interface has been improved by adding context menus to the Transactions Tables in the Accounts, Payees and Schedule View to augment the Transaction Editing Buttons as potential shortcuts. Remove and Edit/Enter buttons have been added to the Import Transactions File modal sheet (in addition to the existing context menu) to maintain consistency of user interface design. Some bug fixes have also been incorporated: in the automatic processing of split scheduled transactions on app launch; and in the export of a currently loaded MyNetWorth for Mac (.mnydata) dataset as a MyNetWorth for Windows (.mnw) Transactions File.
3.11 May 20
Adds the capability to import a set of transactions that have been exported from an online banking app in a Comma Separated Variable (CSV) file.
3.10 Apr 29

3.9 Apr 8
Bug fix: On launching MyNetWorth Preview for the first time after installation the filename of current transactions file was set to "BareMMData" and a Shared Transactions File alert box was displayed. The filename of current transactions file is now set to "Untitled" and no alert box is displayed. On saving the current transaction file for the first time, the user is prompted to choose a new filename and location.
3.8 Feb 26
Adds the capability to select multiple transactions in Accounts View for concurrently changing the transactions' date and/or toggling their cleared status.
3.7 Feb 14

Scheduled transfer transactions that are entered automatically on launch are now processed correctly with valid entries for source and destination accounts in the Accounts and Payees Views;
When the Account Filter is set to an individual account in Schedule View, the selected account balance is always displayed now, even if the transaction is between two ASSETS accounts; and
When partially reconciled transfer transactions are scheduled in the Accounts and Payees Views, the original source and destination accounts now populate the EditScheduledTransaction dialogue box.

Fixed bug: Scheduled transfer transactions were not passing through Transfer Account on manual and auto entry.

Added capability to generate scheduled transactions from normal transactions in the Accounts and Payees views.
Balances in Schedule View are always displayed when Account Filter set to an individual account.

3.5 Jan 21
Adds the capability to specify a limit to the number of times that scheduled transactions are repeated.
Adds the capability to clear transactions between ASSETS/LIABILITIES accounts separately to support the timely reconciliation of delayed transfer transactions, for example payments made from a bank account to a credit card account that arrive in the credit card account some time after they have left the bank account.
3.4 11/28/2025
Reworked Alerts for compatibility with both Tahoe and Sequoia.
Improved Manage Accounts and Manage Payees functions.

Fixed bugs in adding a new payee in Payees View.
Edited alert dialogue boxes for macOS 26 compatibility.
3.2 09/22/2025
The Account Filter selection, applied by the user in the Schedule View, is saved, when leaving the Schedule View, and restored, when reopening the Schedule View. The Account Filter selection is also recorded in the transactions file, when the file is saved on quitting the app, and restored on relaunching the app and when reopening an existing transactions file.
The user can now set the Period of a Scheduled Transaction to "No Repeat" to support the early addition of future one-off transactions. One-off scheduled transactions are deleted once they have been entered, automatically and/or manually.
3.1 09/02/2025
Schedule View upgrades: AC Balance Column now shows future net worth, when no account filter is applied, and future account balance, when the account filter is applied; the Net Worth/Balance column is now colour coded - green for transactions that increase Net Worth/Balance and red for transactions that decrease Net Worth/Balance; Net Worth/ Balance column title changes to reflect its contents and its contents are colour coded - green for positive values and red for negative values; Account Filter selection options limited to just the relevant asset/liability accounts.
Net Worth/Balance column title changes to reflect its contents in Reports View.
Edit Transaction Dialogue boxes in Account, Payees and Schedule Views are now "sticky": data entered in a split transaction is saved when switching to normal and restored on switching back; To and From Accounts entered in a normal transaction are saved when switching to split and restored on switching back.
Performance improvements incorporated when reopening Balances and Reports Views by preventing unnecessary recalculations; progress overlays are now displayed in Balances and Reports Views, when their contents are being calculated or refreshed.
