Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community development has set up the Qur’anic Botanic Garden, the first of its kind in the world. All set to bloom in Doha, it will have all the plant species mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, and those in the Hadith and Sunnah (Sayings & traditions of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH).
The Qur’anic Botanic Garden exhibits the botanical terms mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, explaining the significance of their mention in the Holy Qur’an, as well as the scientific explanations of composition, application and usefulness to man. In addition, the educational application showcases beautiful imagery and photography of these plants.
Incorporated in the application is also an edutainment section, where you can play spot the difference and match the shadows. So play a few games to expand on your knowledge!
