玛塔创想编程机器人的设计，机器人的每一步行动 都需要儿童的思考和操作。儿童成为积极主动的思考者和探索者，机器人前进或后退，左转或右转，转几次，走几步，如何避开障碍物，如何完成任务，都需要儿童观察、思考、操作、纠错等。儿童在反复练习中逐步构建“指令、程序”等编程启蒙知识，培养“像计算机科学家一样思考以解决问题”的计算思维，建立“我能指挥机器人”的科技自信。
