The Emergency Locator enables precise localization of emergency callers. The GPS location of callers from the EchoSOS app is transmitted to the Emergency Locator within seconds. Emergency services, security staff or event organizers can react quickly and provide help.
The Emergency Locator App enables EchoSOS partners to use the functions of the web application also mobile, in the field. This opens up more flexibility for users and operators.
The functions at a glance:
• Display of all check-ins (via call or SMS) on the map and as a list
• Information on: Time, phone number, battery status, coordinates (CH1903/WGS84), accuracy of position (meters/feet), altitude meters
• Swisstopo map for Switzerland
• SMS dispatch in German, French, Italian and English
