Easy to Use
Singing and Art is mah Life
This app is easy to use and understand. However, There are some key features I wish that could be added.I'm still learning how to use the app, but I do wish that there can be a feature similar to a keyframe point like in a regular video editor, but with the audio. I also wish for a feature where you're able to click and drag to select pieces of audio you wish to move around rather than having to click and move individually.

Great potential. Simple to use
SmidgenMama
Pros: this app was simple enough to figure out compared some others I tried--just drag the audiobook snippet in that I want, right-click to split and add space in the track, and drag in the next snippet when I'm happy with it. Cons: No way to add extra time at end of track without copying a section of silence and pasting at the end. Once the file got beyond about 5 minutes, it started looking unstable and lagging - the pause button took a second or twoGoing back or forward in the working track is difficult. The colored progress bar at the bottom let me see what tracks I had added and where they joined, but clicking on it to go back to a join made the location identifier jump to the left of my mouse pointer about 1/2", so I had to drag my mouse off the end of the bar if I wanted to get all the way to the end of the chapter. Some other programs will let you click and drag on the interface to go forward/backward a few seconds, but I found out the hard way this doesn't actually move your location in the chapter/track, it moves the audio file. Suggestions: when zooming to 200%, 500%, etc. make it zoom to center on the "play" cursor, so we don't have to hunt through the track when zooming in. Other ways to navigate in the track besides the bar at the bottom would be good.

Love this app - better than other audio editors
David J. M.
I’m really happy with Audio One. It feels more modern than other audio editors in its price range (under $100). I love the way it lets you non-destructively trim audio by dragging the end points. Plus it has markers (Tags), a feature I can’t do without. I had been using an older version of TwistedWave but it stopped working under macOS Sequoia. So I downloaded and tried a few audio apps, including Audacity, and I didn’t like any of them. But then I tried Audio One— it works great and has a very Apple-like interface and is fun to use. The free version is limited and thus a little frustrating but I think Audio One is worth paying for, including the $45 price for the eternal version.

A Very Quick Review
rystar83471289378219
I just downloaded this app and I am writing this with a very quick judgement but I needed to speed up a dialoge file. I would have like to know how much I was speeding up the audio like a percentage or some kind of number value as a guide. And when I sped up the dialogue it pitched it up so I had to go to the pitch FX and pitch it down so the dialogue sounded normal. I would be nice if there was a option in the "Rate" FX panel to keep the pitch normal. As it is I have to so to guess the pitch rate of normal. You can say that I am being too picky however if I were to pay for this app and it doesn't do these very basic things I would have paid for an app that doesn't do the things I need it to do. And that is only two of the functions in this app. If I were to continue working with it what other issues would find?
Developer Response
Hello, thanks for your feedback. If we understood correctly, you want the pitch to be automatically adjusted to the rate? We will add this item to the list of ideas, we have big updates planned for this year, we will try to implement this idea too. Stay tuned.
