1/23/23My Initial review was the day I downloaded: 1/17/23. It was favorable, but preliminary.BUT if you choose to EDIT within Hider Pro, YOU'RE BEAT!! Spent days trying to get it to hide edited docs and, NOPE! Even after deleting the original file on the way into Hider and locking the app. Even after disabling edit, locking, and closing the app altogether. No matter what, that document will still show up in Word and Excel's history AND OPEN so, there's no hiding there.Some favorable options:1) SimpleumSafe, 2) Concealer (not on app store), and 3) Espionage3 (not on app store). These 3 do this flawlessly-ish, (Hide & Lock) tho from slightly different angles, with slightly different actions to ensure hiding/lock options. Unfortunately, the titles WERE NOT HIDDEN within Word and Excel, BUT they WERE LOCKED and unable to open. And they were hidden in recent, spotlight and finder as well as pics and other file types.***SPECIAL NOTE***You can create a free “Disk Image” thru mac’s disk utility that is a password protected with 256-bit AES encryption. It operates like an external drive appearing on your desktop. You gotta be sure to eject it to lock it back up tho, which operates similarly to the 3 mentioned above.
