Digital Farmer Community platform aims at strengthening the Agriculture ecosystem in Qatar by creating a network of stakeholders and shared services among them to create value for all. Following are the main features of the Platform:
Farm Data:
Enables users to create digital records on the farms by geotagging structures such as Plots, Greenhouses, Wells etc. and add Operational data for the sown crops
Knowledge Base:
Users can create crop and context wise digital records of Best Practices to be followed on farms
Pest Diagnosis:
It is an image analytics-based solution wherein user can upload an image of the disease and pest infestation for Diagnosis
Farm Advisory:
It is a two-way interactive system which involves a Query Ticketing system wherein Farms can raise General Query/Incident tickets to be resolved by Experts and Instant Chat system wherein Farms & Experts can post content
Farmers Community:
It is a Chat forum wherein users can post text messages, upload images and send voice files in the common forum
Crop Health:
Provides an overview about the health status of crops at plot and greenhouse level derived based on the analytics done over multiple input data sets such as Satellite data, Sensor Data, Weather Data and Image Data
Production Quantity:
Provides insights to the user on the expected production quantity of the crops derived based on the analytics done over multiple input data sets such as Satellite data, Sensor Data, Weather Data and Operations
Disease Predictions:
Provides predictions to the user on the likelihood of occurrence of various crop disease and pests derived based on the threshold-based thumb rules
Weather:
Weather data is sourced from Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) via Integration. User can see “Current Weather” data for present day, “Forecast Weather” data for 15 days and “Historical Weather” data stored in the System
Market Prices (MME):
Provides information on various Market Price types for a given commodity on a day so as to enable informed decision making

1. Production Quantity date filter so that harvest can be checked between certain dates
2. Consolidated map view for all geo-tagged items on the farm, showing the items as different icons & colours
