Unfortunately, the data associated with my accounts is not accessible in this “updated” app. I routinely make transfers to and from both of my TFCU accounts. This app does not have the accounts linked as they were in the past. I spent a lot of time searching for the way to fix this error and then filling out the required information. Then I received the message that my accounts are now locked in the app, and I’ll need to contact TFCU. So I tried accessing the info online, and this is no longer an option… all transactions must now be completed in this app… which isn’t working properly. Tried contacting TFCU directly and received the message that they are experiencing “larger call volumes than usual”. Please reactivate the former app until this one works correctly.

I’ve been using the Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) app for a while now, and it just keeps getting better! The layout is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate — everything I need is right at my fingertips. I can quickly check balances, transfer funds, deposit checks, and even manage my credit card all in one place.Mobile check deposit works flawlessly, and I love that I get instant notifications for transactions, which helps me stay on top of my accounts. The app is fast, reliable, and secure — I’ve never had an issue logging in or completing a transaction.TFCU really did an outstanding job creating an app that makes banking convenient and stress-free. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a trustworthy credit union with modern tech!

There are numerous things that need improvement. And being that you can’t comment on the app from within the app, I come to here. Mobile deposit is one. To snap a pic of a check, fitting it in the box is hard enough. But you then have to tap the screen to shoot the pic. That may be fine if your hands are perfectly still. Why not use the buttons that are meant to take pictures? And the transactions used to show a running balance after each transaction. Makes it real easy to balance the checkbook (yes, we still balance the checkbook). Now only the transaction shows up and you have to navigate through a couple of different screens to finally see a running total. Not thrilled with the ‘upgrade’.

I can point out several flaws within this app that has resulted in a tremendous confusion on my part that I’ve had to recently break out the good ole paperback checkbook balance ledger and start going back in time by writing everything down. Understandably it is my responsibility to balance my money in which has been poorly executed over the last 2 months during this upgrade but I can honestly say that without a doubt, this app “upgrade” performs so poorly that I assume to not have it at all. It is my fault for relying on the old apps’ accuracy and details, not to mention the missing display feature calculation/deduction amounts not showing on the new app…. I have to wonder why the lack of transparency is being conducive to my bank getting hundreds of dollars in nsf fees. I have been in a depression which I fear I will never get out of since the loss of my mother, loss of my career since 2020 and find it disheartening that in every direction I take in life, technology gets the best of me.
