High-quality, affordable medical care is available on-demand with Carilion Now.
From home or on-the-go, the Carilion Now app allows you to talk to a board-certified health care provider in minutes about a diagnosis and care plan. Simply use your smartphone or tablet to connect. If needed, prescriptions can be sent directly to your pharmacy.
If you use Apple Health you can choose to share your health information with the provider during your video visit, such as heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, blood glucose levels, weight, nutritional information and respiratory rate.
Your Carilion Now connection is secure and HIPAA compliant. You must be over the age of 18 to use Carilion Now for yourself or a minor 2 years or older.

Affordable
Health care services are offered at a flat payment rate, no insurance is required to participate. Carilion Now also provides an option for patients using Medicare Part B.
Insurance
Original Medicare (Part B) covers many telehealth services. You pay a portion of the Medicare-approved amount for your care, and the Part B deductible applies. For most telehealth services, you'll pay the same amount that you would if you had received services in person.
And for Carilion employees using Carilion Now, coverage is available under Carilion’s sponsored health plan. Subject to applicable copays and deductibles.
