New features - Now you can choose between Metric and Imperial units for users in the United States. - Navigation instructions, such as turn guidance and the starting position, are now disabled by default to provide a calmer start with fewer distractions. - The "almost at your destination" notification is now announced at 4 metres instead of 5 metres. - A new Stairs only navigation option has been added. - The app no longer plays a sound when your position is automatically refreshed during navigation. Profiles have been updated. Choose the non-visual profile for more detailed haptic feedback and voice instructions. Choose the standard profile, which places greater emphasis on the use of high contrast visual elements such as an arrow where to go, or follow the virtual guide line. Changing floors is indicated more clearly using an arrow and voice instructions. Receive information about your surroundings and what there is to do. For example, you are now passing a toilet before entering the museum, or you are passing Vermeer’s ‘The Milkmaid’ on your left. Instructions are kept as concise as possible whilst navigating. When installing the app, it is made clearer that the camera and location services must be enabled in order to navigate. TalkBack and VoiceOver optimisation make the app even more accessible. Interactive Quick Start (IQS) does not start automatically on first launch, but you can choose to enable it.
