This app creates a user interface to Concept Measurement Inc.’s WiFi-enabled Torq Hub and
Torq SpoolTM torque measurement devices. These devices are intended for use during the
installation of helical piles - also known as screw piles - to measure and record torque values as
the helical pile gets screwed into the ground.
Data is gathered wirelessly via WiFi connection to the Torq Hub or Torq Spool device and
logged to a database within the app. The device can measure torque, pile angle, rotations per
minute and number of rotations during the installation process to ensure proper operation and
installation result. Installation depth can also be recorded in the app along with the geolocation
of the smartphone or table running the app. The user can input their own particular job
information to be displayed on the PDF or spreadsheet Pile Reports. The generated reports can
be emailed from the user’s smartphone or tablet when internet connection is available.
The app is available in English, French, Portuguese and German.
