Love the app. I think there should be a few updates…

Love using dub. I think it’s fairly intuitive. Somethings I would like to see would be a more realtime, up to date main graph. As of right now, daily and weekly versions of the line graph of my portfolio seems to drag (takes it time getting up to date). Next, when the market opens the daily changes for each individual portfolio takes about 30-45 minutes to show any changes. Finally, when I first started using the app I added in a marginal amount of money compared to what I have now in my portfolio, to test it out. When I added in more money the All time percent change became inaccurate. For example I put 1K in initially, it grew to 1100, then I added in 13k and it grew to 15k. Its say there was a 25% increase in my portfolio but $1100 is only about 7%. I love using the app, only reason I am leaving this review is so my UX can become better. Thank you.

before I download and use this app to as you put it copy trading either Wall Street executives or Congress people of the money that I make how much of that is going right back to you in the form of fees am I even gonna be making a profit or is it all going towards fees? This is a serious question not trying to troll. I just wanna understand if I put $100 steak on a stock for simplicity and it grows by 100% to 200 bucks so technically I should make $100 but after fees is that hundred dollars gonna dwindle down to 30 bucks that I make after all your fees and your cost of doing business or anything like that I really need an answer to this before I fully commit to you, downloading and using this app as my primary app when it comes to trading, especially because I am just starting to get into this not day-to-day trader but just trading in general so if you can, please answer my question it would be much appreciated thank you for your time. Thank you for this app and just please explain the fee structure again. Appreciate your time thank you.

Thanks for the question! So at a high level, the app mainly runs on subscriptions. We use subscriptions as a simple way to provide transparency to the cost of investing with our app. The only other fees that may be charged on our app consist of regulatory-mandated fees (TAF and SEC fees), which are standard across all brokerages when you sell assets, paper statement fees if you fail to provide a valid email (we are e-delivery first), and ACH return fees (if on a rare occasion, you make a deposit that is rejected by your bank due to situations such as an overdraft of your account). This company is completely misleading to suggest that scraping 13F filings, which are publicly available and disclosed by investors with over $100 million in assets three months after the fact, will make someone rich. It's absolute nonsense. These filings only provide a very limited snapshot of basic long positions. Do you really want to base your investments on outdated and incomplete information? Dont be fooled by these startups. Here are some additional detailed info: 1.Time Lag: 13F filings are submitted quarterly and reflect the holdings at the end of the previous quarter. By the time the information is public, it could be months old, meaning the investor may have already adjusted their positions. 2.Partial View: 13F filings only require disclosure of long equity positions, options, and convertible bonds. They do not include information on short positions, derivatives, or non-equity investments, so you’re not seeing the complete portfolio or strategy. 3.Different Strategies and Risk Tolerance: The strategies of large institutional investors may differ significantly from what would work for an individual investor. They have different risk tolerances, access to information, and time horizons. 4.Size and Influence: Large investors like Buffett can buy and sell in ways that affect stock prices due to the size of their trades. Mimicking their moves on a smaller scale might not yield the same results. 5.Portfolio Composition: A 13F filing shows the stocks held but doesn’t provide context on why those stocks were chosen, the expected holding period, or how they fit into a broader strategy. Simply copying the stocks won’t necessarily replicate the investment strategy behind them.
