I was excited to try this app at first, but after taking it for a spin I was disappointed. It started to track my route just fine, but it only logged my first 20 minutes. After that, it stopped tracking. I hunted for two hours, and the app reflected that… but 3/4 of my area covered was not on the map. I got this app just to track my coverage in a big field, and it came up way short. Not willing to spend $30 a year for something I don’t really need. After 20 years of detecting, I find that this is more of a novelty for beginners.

Great for tracking finds. Simple to use. I just wish it gave statistics based on the logged info. I’d like to be able to see a summary of the past day, week, month, year. There’s lots of cool stats you could calculate and it wouldn’t be too hard to add to the app. I would give 5 stars based on simply tracking your finds, but I feel it lacks the fun part, which is using all the info you input to show your achievements.

Achievements have arrived! Earn badges as you log your finds, hit new milestones, and grow your collection. We've also added new stats so you can dig deeper into your detecting history and see your progress over time. Also includes bug fixes.
