- Ensure that the rights of children and adults at risk are upheld and that their needs are responded to by a confident and competent workforce;
- Empower children and adults at risk to understand their rights and where they can get help or advice if they need it;
- Support parents and carers to understand safeguarding risks and harms, how to report concerns and where they can access advice and support.
