Loved by Users Around The World
"I love Glasp! I use it every time I read online articles. Highlighting with Glasp enforces me to actually read rather than scan through an article. I retain so much more info and can easily revisit my previously read articles to recall details and notes I've made."
— Angela, Product Designer
"Glasp has somewhat become a staple tool (mainly for highlighting and note-taking) for me already. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to continue using it for many years to come :)"

We will get you an account either way.
I love Glasp!
kei.chomp
I love using Glasp. It increases my productivity, creates my online library that I can refer back anytime, and find like-minded people to learn together. With Glasp, I can close tabs on Chrome easily, I can read great articles well, and I can make my online asset which is a history of my learning. If you think you read a lot of articles, want to refer them in the future, and want to find learning partner, Glaps is the place for that!
Developer Response
Thank you, this means a lot to a small team. If there is anything you want Glasp to do that it does not do yet, hi[at]glasp.co reaches us directly.

Does not currently summarize Youtube videos on Safari (8.17.2024)
Alinaalinalina
Hopefully developers fix this, but the extension for Safari, does not summarize Youtube videos like on the Chrome extension. If you click to summarize a Youtube video, the extension will open a new window for ChatGPT, but will not paste in the transcript. It just opens a new tab of ChatGPT. On Chrome, it still works.
Developer Response
You described it precisely, and you were right. On Safari the transcript is not handed over the way it is on Chrome.Where this works well now is the Glasp app for iPhone and iPad. Share a YouTube video to Glasp and you get the transcript and an AI summary in the app, without any of this back and forth. On the desktop, the Chrome extension is still the one that runs the full flow.If you would rather stay in Safari, email hi[at]glasp.co and we will tell you where this stands.
Fixed in this version:
• The Glasp toolbar no longer opens underneath a page's own selection popup. On sites that show their own toolbar over selected text, Glasp now notices it is covered and moves out of the way.
New in this version:
• You can choose where the toolbar appears. Settings → Highlighting → Popup position: Auto, Above the selection, Below the selection, or Bottom-right corner.
Also includes the fix from the previous update:
• Highlighting works again on public government pages.
