Building on the Napo framework, Clavitudo is a container app that allows you to play various supported instrumental sample sets by MIDI keyboards connected to your iOS or macOS device.
The instruments have to be installed by the user. For more information, please consult the app support page https://polaron.de/Clavitudo/ . For a quick start, read https://polaron.de/Clavitudo/Manual/Quickstart/ .
Ratings & Reviews
There is now an adapter for Pere Casulleras' meantone sample set of the Christian Zell 1737 harpsichord.
On macOS and iPadOS 26+, users can choose whether screen keyboards are shown in the instrument view or in an own window.
In the hardware settings, MIDI keyboards can be defined by manually specifying the channel number instead of channel detection by pressing a key.
All MIDI actions induce an info display when executed.
