In this game you can explore a strange virtual machine, the QFK42 quantum field chamber. You can learn about the structure of matter, nuclear physics, the elements of the periodic table, isotopes, etc.
This is the scenario:
Even in the Middle Ages, many dreamed of changing the materials that make up our world. The alchemists wanted to make gold from lead. This was called the 'minor transmutation'.
In the laboratories of the heavy ion researchers and in the LHC in Geneva, the dream of a small transmutation can already be realized today. However, only with immense costs and huge machines.
You have it much easier:
In mega-meta-alchemist Paul P. Jemand's mysterious QFK-42 quantum field chamber, you can control a subatomic quantum injector capable of emitting protons and neutrons, allowing you to create any element, at least at the core.
If you succeed, you can improve your reputation in the world of modern alchemists and get medals. You can win Zeiberthalers, which you can use to buy supplies for your missions.
You need these Zeiberthalers, because every action with the Quantum Chamber has to be paid for, and the better you get and the more difficult the tasks become, the more Zeiberthalers you will need.
Unfortunately, the QFK-42 is not yet fully developed. Sometimes there are malfunctions. But you'll deal with the problems...
If you don't have a bearing at all, you may be able to find some clues in the QFK-42's built-in manual. Yes, and not to forget: There is a documentation with the knowledge of all the elements that are known so far.
